Vital Voices Fellow

Being a proud 2022 fellow of Vital Voices VV Engage Program, I wish to encourage all women who work to make the world a better place to learn more about what this organisation – the most powerful global voice of women leaders from all across the globe – stands for and about its development and support initiatives.

I am also deeply honoured and humbled to be featured by Vital Voices on #PublicServiceDay. Today I serve as a State Secretary but the power to serve, I think, does not start nor end with official positions. It can be a way of life and work and that is how I regard it.

This World #PublicServiceDay, we recognize an outstanding public servant, #VVEngageFellow Roxana Mînzatu. A former Minister and Member of Parliament in Romania, Roxana Mînzatu currently serves as Secretary of State. As MP, she passed economic and social legislation on women’s rights in the workplace and fighting domestic violence. As a politician, Roxana is passionate about connecting people and organizations to transcend differences and work towards common goals.
